Rhydian Scurlock-Jones

Rhydian advises private landowners, institutions, family offices, corporate clients and public bodies on complex property decisions.

He particularly enjoy roles where ownership strategy, operational requirements, valuations, long-term stewardship and family/business succession need to be considered together and navigated through a period of change.

He regularly assist at a strategic level, supporting  discovery of aims and objectives, strategy formation, as well as implementation oversight and non-executive support.

Rhydian has extensive experience in advising clients as to the most effective way to manage their assets by maximising revenue income and capital appreciation, delivering this through strategic consultancy and active management. Rhydian is regularly involved in the sale, acquisition, letting and development of estates and farms and has lead on a significant number of high profile estate and farm sales.

He also leads our northern and midlands rural professional discipline. An accredited RICS registered valuer, Rhydian's role includes the valuation of estates, farms and residential properties for loan security, tax planning and as an expert witness in contentious matters.

In addition to his professional role, he is a director of an organic farming company with diverse property interests across the UK with a commercial portfolio of over 250,000 sq ft. This provides a practical perspective on the operational, financial and stewardship challenges faced by businesses and their owners. He is a fluent Welsh speaker.

He welcomes conversations with landowners, trustees, professional advisers, lenders, institutions and public bodies requiring strategic or valuation advice on rural property matters.
