Richard Barnard

Richard is a Chartered Surveyor and RICS Registered Valuer at Savills, having joined the firm in 2022 through the graduate programme.

He is a member of the housing development team and provides valuation and development consultancy advice to a range of clients including housing associations, local authorities, private developers, investors and lenders.

Richard undertakes the valuation and appraisal of residential developments across multiple tenures, including multifamily/BTR, single-family housing and mixed-use schemes. His work includes land acquisitions, residual appraisals, loan security valuations, fund valuations and investment appraisals.

He has a particular focus on the private rented sector and build-to-rent market, advising clients on development and investment opportunities across the UK.
