David May

David has experience across all Building Surveying disciplines and has been working in the property industry for 15 years.

He now leads the Reinstatement Cost Assessments service line at Savills undertaking both single instructions and managing portfolios of over 1000 properties for insurance purposes and Depreciated Replacement Cost Assessments for accounting purposes.

David aims to deliver client-centric advice by prioritising the needs and goals of the client while providing professional, tailored recommendations and solutions. David's approach focuses on understanding the client's specific circumstances, ensuring clear communication and offering practical, valuable insights that lead to the best possible outcomes.

David is an active member in Savills Building & Project Consultancy D&I initiatives.
