Planning Services

Savills Scottish planning team is one of the largest planning consultancy businesses operating across Scotland and is part of a UK planning team of over 170 planning professionals. We have specialist knowledge of Scottish planning policy and practice and are therefore able to guide you through the complexities of the system and have a good track record of getting positive outcomes for clients.

In particular, we provide specialist planning advice to deliver complex commercial, energy, retail and residential proposals.  As qualified planners, surveyors and environmental assessors we are able to clearly demonstrate the commercial, environmental and economic benefits of proposals to local interest groups, government agencies, council officers and politicians.  We work closely with all our Savills colleagues who appreciate that planning plays an integral part in all transactions involving land and buildings and that gaining a good planning permission is crucial to a site’s value.
