
Based in the South West, Adam is an Associate Director having joined the Architectural and Building Surveying department in 2018, covering England and Wales. He specialises in heritage projects and rural assets, focusing on the conservation of historic buildings, adaptive reuse/diversification schemes and general consultancy.
Having started his career as an architectural technician in his native North Devon, Adam diversified and graduated university with a degree in Building Surveying and the Environment and joined an Exeter based private practice before moving to Savills
Adam takes projects from initial conception and feasibility through to delivery of the schemes, including producing full architectural design packages, conceptual master planning and acting as Contract Administrator. He also undertakes professional services such as Dilapidations, Quinquennial Inspections and Reinstatement Cost Assessments on traditional properties. In line with his background in heritage matters, Adam holds a master’s degree in the Conservation of Historic Buildings from the University of Bath.
Though covering the South region, Adam lives in Exeter but is often found walking around the golf course or rebuilding whatever part of his home he has demolished the previous week.
