James began his career in the 1980s and has professional experience in a wide range of building surveying roles. He works in our regional and UK-wide teams on a variety of private and public sector commissions.
Since joining Savills in 2015 James has advised clients on a range of building surveying matters, with particular focus on condition surveys, defects diagnosis, dilapidations and party walls. His recent experience also includes office and industrial relocation projects, expert witness and development monitoring.
James has a particular interest in inclusive building design, and is a Consultant member of NRAC. His work in this field ranges from simple access audits to strategic advice on major development schemes.
