Tom Hill

Before joining Savills Tom was a Senior Fellow at the Institute for Public Policy Research (IPPR) where he worked with leading UK politicians Ed Miliband and Caroline Lucas to shape research and policy analysis related to community engagement and climate change. Prior to that he worked as an environmental economist at a leading accountancy firm and an impact analyst at a top sustainability consultant.

Impact due diligence: We conduct independent due diligence to assess transaction's performance with regards to environmental and social impact. Our approach combines an ESG risk review with an analysis of the wider impact opportunities.
Assurance & Verification: We help clients to verify and assure their ESG and Impact disclosures against best practice standards and certification systems (incl. ISAE 3000).
Financial regulation frameworks: We can review your portfolio and asset management strategy against emerging impact regulations such as SDR and SFDR amongst others.
Stakeholder engagement and training: We can train you in cutting-edge quantitative and qualitative impact assessment methodologies and help you to engage and secure buy-in from your stakeholders.

Outside of Savills, Tom and his partner are busily in the process of retrofitting their tiny cottage to make it more energy efficient and sustainable. Tom also has an interest in stoicism, and in his spare time is helping the modern stoicism movement in its efforts to rebuild Plato's Academy Centre in Athens.
