Edward Shakespeare

Edward has advised on numerous major real estate transactions and financings and enjoys working on a diverse and varied range of commercial real estate projects.

Edward, who is from a livestock farming family, has always maintained a strong interest in property and commerce together with a passion for London and thrives on the analytical rigour of the valuation process. Edward leads a team within the UK commercial estate real valuation division who are advisors of choice to many real estate lenders. Edward and his team have mentored numerous surveyors at the early stages of their careers and take immense pride in seeing these surveyors develop their career within Savills and the wider real estate industry.

Away from the work place Edward lives life to full being married with four children. He is also a keen follower of Leicester Tigers rugby team and other passions and interests include equestrianism in general, the livestock farming scene, ceramic art, rural France along with the history and evolution of the City of London. Edward also enjoys long walks with his dogs in whatever the weather.
