Lindsay joined the Natural Capital Team at Savills in June 2025, taking a lead on ecology and biodiversity issues relating to natural capital markets in Scotland.
Lindsay has worked in nature conservation and land management for over 30 years, having worked for a wide variety of organisations, including National Trust for Scotland, Future Forest Company Ltd, Scottish Natural Heritage and Parnassus Ecology. He has also worked at home and abroad for research organisations including the University of Oxford, University of Calgary, World Wide Fund for Nature and the Vincent Wildlife Trust.
He brings a wealth of experience and a detailed understanding of the conservation and land management sector, bringing his insights to bear to find solutions to land management challenges. Lindsay currently works with landowners and businesses to identify practical and affordable ways to integrate nature restoration into land management activities. This includes advice on how landowners can make themselves ready to take advantage of future opportunities in the private nature finance markets, including the Woodland Carbon Code, Peatland Code, Ecosystem Restoration Code and the biodiversity market.
