Francesca is an associate in the Natural Capital consultancy team. She advises on BNG, nature-based carbon credit and Net Zero strategies.
Francesca graduated from Harper Adams University with a BSc (Hons) in Rural Enterprise and Land Management in 2020. She qualified as a rural chartered surveyor in 2023 and is also a green and sustainable finance professional with the Chartered Banker Institute. Before joining Savills, Francesca worked as a land agent in the North of England, advising on estate management and delivering projects with environmental and social value.
Building on her land agency experience, Francesca specialises in assessing the suitability of land and businesses for nature-credit generation. She provides feasibility studies under the Woodland Carbon Code, Peatland Code, and Biodiversity Net Gain, offering clear advice on the legal, financial, and practical implications for businesses. Working closely with our planning and utility teams, she also helps shape effective BNG mitigation and delivery strategies.
Francesca also drafts heads of terms for credit sales, guiding clients to clarify priorities and develop negotiation strategies. With strong project management expertise, she delivers both technical and stakeholder engagement support to large-scale land use research projects.
Francesca was appointed to the RICS Matrics UK Board in 2025. When not out walking her Labrador, Winnie, she can often be found at horse shows.
