With over 10 years experience, Diane joined Savills in 2023, working in the Farm and Estate Rural Agency team, specialising in sales and acquisitions throughout Scotland.
Diane was brought up on a family farm in Angus and after school studied Architecture at the University of Strathclyde in Glasgow. She then re-trained as a Rural Surveyor whilst working with a firm of rural surveyors in Aberdeen. After qualifying as a Member of the Royal Institute of Chartered Surveyors in 2016, she briefly took on a land management role, before specialising in farm and estate agency and valuation in 2017.
Diane works closely with our network of regional and London offices to find the right buyers for her clients’ properties. She has been involved in an array of rural transactions of commercial farms, sporting estates and properties with renewable, forestry and natural capital opportunities. As a Registered Valuer, she also assists our Valuations team with valuations for clients for a variety of purposes including bank lending, inheritance tax and interval reviews.
Diane enjoys spending time outside, be it getting out on the farm, walking in the countryside, playing tennis or stand up paddle boarding on rivers, lochs and even the north sea.
