Jack Marshall

Jack joined the Dumfries office in 2025 as an associate, working across the food & farming and estate management teams.  Prior to joining Savills, he spent over six years with a leading Scottish property consultancy, working in both Castle Douglas and Perth.  During this time, he gained experience across agricultural consultancy, rural property management and professional practice, qualifying as an MRICS chartered rural surveyor in 2022 before progressing to senior rural surveyor.

Coming from a family dairy farm in Dumfries and Galloway, Jack also has practical farming experience which complements his professional expertise and allows him to provide commercially focused advice grounded in the realities of modern farming and estate businesses.

Jack works with a wide range of private clients throughout Scotland, providing advice on estate management, farm management and agricultural consultancy matters.  He has particular experience in contract farming agreements, farm business management and Scottish agricultural support schemes, helping clients maximise funding opportunities and improve business performance.

Working across both the food & farming and estate management teams enables Jack to provide integrated advice on agricultural, property and rural business matters, delivering practical solutions tailored to individual client objectives.

Having grown up in Dumfries and Galloway, Jack has strong links to the local rural community and a keen interest in Scottish agriculture and countryside management.  Outside work, he enjoys spending time in the countryside and participating in a range of sports, particularly equestrian sports, rugby, and football.

His farming background and passion for rural Scotland enable him to build strong relationships with clients and understand the challenges and opportunities facing rural businesses today.
