Mhairi joined Savills in 2024 to take on management of the Scotland major projects business. Her role principally comprises managing teams delivering large scale linear infrastructure projects for clients in Scotland.
Before joining Savills, Mhairi gained experience with a large electricity transmission network operator, where she was part of the Capital Development and Delivery Land Team, managing large-scale electricity infrastructure projects from inception to completion.
Mhairi’s background also includes strategic estate management and community engagement, contributing to economic growth for an innovative Aberdeenshire rural estate business. She is a Chartered Rural Surveyor with Masters degrees in both business management and land economy.
Mhairi is responsible for the management of the major projects business in Scotland. Her role comprises managing client relationships, tendering and contracts and business development. Mhairi ensures that linear infrastructure projects in Scotland are delivered with the highest quality, delivery and performance standards in mind. Mhairi oversees the recruitment, selection and management of candidates for the team.
Mhairi also sits on the RICS Rural Expert Group and SLE’s North East Committee and is an APC assessor and counsellor.
