Shaun joined Savills in Southampton as a director within Building & Project Consultancy in September 2024. Alongside core building surveying services, Shaun heads up the access consultancy service nationally.
With over 20 years industry experience, having graduated from the University of Portsmouth in 2001, Shaun has worked for a number of regional and national property consultancies. He blends technical knowledge and attention to detail, with a pragmatic and commercial approach; a client focused professional, ensuring clients needs and goals are at the heart of any instruction.
Shaun is a chartered building surveyor, skilled in core building surveying disciplines, including landlord and tenant matters (dilapidations, schedules of condition and strategic advice), building pathology, technical due diligence and project work. He also specialises in access consultancy/inclusive design, as a member of the NRAC (National Register of Access Consultants).
Being south coast based, Shaun enjoys family time and activities along the coast and on the water. He is an avid football fan, and continues to play on a regular basis.
In work, alongside professional work as an access consultant, Shaun is an advocate of all things access and inclusion, actively involved in a number of working groups within Savills.

Savills were appointed to undertake a full building condition survey including MEP of our Grade II Listed Guildhall which is occupied and in operation at the time of the survey. The brief also required a costed maintenance forecast over the short, medium and long term. Savills co-ordinated their team very well minimising the number of visit required to the building once shown round were self-sufficient. It was good to see in the mobilisation period they took the time to review and seek out historical record information. The survey provided was very comprehensive, easy to follow and has become a useful tool for us to seek additional funding and form the basis of our asset management plan for the building. I would have no hesitation in using the Shaun and the Savills team again.
