This year the theme for National Inclusion Week is #ImpactMatters – a call-to-action for all to create inclusive workplaces and celebrate.

It gave us the perfect occasion to consider our impact and journey as a business, while also organising some events and opportunities to continue developing our inclusive culture – all to make impact.

Savills Head of Diversity and Inclusion, Chanelle Gray and CEO - UK & EMEA, James Sparrow, hosted a panel discussion at our Margaret Street head office on how the real estate industry is making an impact – past, present and future. The speakers, which included Stephen Burns, Executive Director Care, Supported Housing and Inclusion at Peabody,  Jo Banfield, HRD at Grosvenor Property UK and Jason Burubu, Head of Business Operations London at The Crown Estate, spoke about their  D&I journeys, the importance of visibility, genuine change, and sharing experiences and values. We also held online events across our business, which looked at empowering colleagues and creating psychological safety, how to use LinkedIn to build your personal brand, and  the benefits of investing. Our offices held inclusion based quizzes and lunches as opportunities to bring people together, learn and recognise the importance of Diversity & Inclusion in our society and organisation.

Lastly, some of our colleagues spoke about what D&I means to them, which you can watch here.
