Savills capital allowances team was instructed on a landmark office acquisition in London after the client acquired it for the headline price of £485m.

The property construction was complex as it was situated on a railway station, and had been previously valued at £90m of capital allowances following a compliance approach.
Following Savills instruction, we valued the property in the region of £120m and thus provided contract clauses to facilitate the valuation and pooling of additional allowances. The valuation was then completed with £143m of allowances ultimately identified for the client.
