Richard is a Savills (UK) Board Director and an experienced, knowledgeable and enthusiastic property expert based from the Oxford office and working across the country.
After a degree in Land Management Richard joined the Savills graduate scheme in 2001 as part of the Dorset Land Management based in Wimborne. After qualifying Richard moved back to Oxford to specialise in selling farms and estates.
Richard has a wide range of experience acting for private, corporate and institutional land owners, with properties ranging from strategic land to large country estates.
As a well established part of the rural and property community Richard has a reputation as a hard working, level headed and trusted advisor to his clients.
Richards time is spent advising across many aspects of the rural world. Specialist areas of work include advising on sales of land, farms and estates; particularly in early stages advice and planning.
Other work includes advising organisations and trusts on issues such as succession and longer term planning. Richard also acts as a professional Trustee for a number of land owning Trusts.
Outside work Richard is a Trustee of the Royal Agricultural Benevolent Institute and Chair of Oxfordshire Country Land and Business Association. He runs a farming business near Oxford where he lives with his wife and young family.
