Jamie Macnab is head of the country house team in Savills Edinburgh office.
Jamie joined Savills in July 1987 and specialises in the sale of larger country houses, castles and golfing properties. Highlights of his career include selling Candacraig House for Billy Connolly, acting at Seton Castle which achieved the highest sale price ever for a residential property in Scotland and at Hamilton Grand in St Andrews where prime apartments achieved the highest prices /ft2 in Scotland.
Jamie lives in Edinburgh and is married with two adult children. He is chief of Clan Macnab and a member of the royal Company of Archers. In his younger years he played rugby for Howe of Fife. He is a keen golfer being a member of both the R&A in St Andrews and H.C.E.G. at Muirfield in East Lothian.
