Stuart Jones

Stuart has over 35 years experience as a chartered surveyor, working with a range of both public and private sector clients make the most of their property assets. He has been with Savills on the south coast for 19 years, and before that worked in London on international property assignments for a global consultancy firm.  He also has a track record in receivership and business restructuring  projects.

Stuart's main focus is on clients in the education sector. He has advised a number of independent schools on estate strategies, including acquisition of strategic assets and disposal of non-performing ones. He has also advised clients in the higher education and further education sectors on valuation matters and estate strategy.

He also has experience with a range of historic buildings, and has specialised knowledge in appraising and presenting enabling development opportunities.

Outside of Savills, Stuart has 8 years experience as an independent board member of a major university, and he is also a non-executive director of a company delivering special needs education in Dorset.
