Ewan is a chartered planner based in Perth, where he is involved in a range of planning matters with a specific focus on rural and residential developments.
In June 2023, Ewan graduated from the University of Dundee with a first class honours in MA Urban Planning. Since graduating, Ewan has gained experience in both the private and public sector having previously worked for Perth and Kinross Council’s Local Development Plan Team.
Ewan joined Savills in March 2024, gaining chartered status in December 2025.
Ewan is involved in a range of planning sectors but primarily provides advice on residential and rural developments including local development plan promotions, small-scale and major housing applications and leisure proposals.
Ewan works to secure planning consent and provide planning advice for a diverse range of projects across Scotland.
Ewan is a member of the Scottish Strategic Land Working Group at Savills and the Scottish Young Planners Network at the Royal Town Planning Institute.
