Anna has been working as a rural chartered surveyor in Scotland for over 20 years, joining Savills in 2000.
With a sound knowledge of estate management and forestry disposals from her early career, she moved into the rural agency team in Edinburgh, eventually going on to lead the department. She regularly handled the sale, purchase or valuation of 20 - 30 farms, estates and woodlands throughout Scotland and the north of England each year of her career. Many transactions were internationally notable.
After a brief change of direction working first as a buying agent and subsequently with the national management team for Savills in London, she returned to her rural roots in Scotland early in 2021. Working within the forestry investment team she now specialises in buying, selling and valuing established woodland and planting land throughout Scotland.
She has been a Professional Member of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors since 2000.
When not at her desk, Anna may be found on her horse or on a tennis court. She lives in the countryside south of Edinburgh with her husband and two daughters and various animals.
