Greg Davison

Greg is a Chartered Surveyor with over 25 years experience in commercial property and is a recognised expert in the Northeast market with a broad exposure across all sectors. With  a background in both occupational and capital markets, in his current role he advises clients on a range of development projects across the region, specialising in mixed-use regeneration schemes. His role includes undertaking initial appraisals and viability consultancy, developer selection, site disposal and strategic direction working alongside other consultants.

Greg also leads Savills office leasing and tenant representation activities across the northeast bringing a depth of experience to every project which is built on an enviable track record and reputation as one of the regions leading specialist office advisors.

Greg is working with a number of public and private sector clients to deliver mixed-use development projects ranging from small standalone schemes to regionally significant regeneration projects. He is particularly engaged in development appraisal and financial modelling to support the delivery of development through private and public sector funding.
Working alongside architects, master planners and cost consultants, Greg is an integral part the development team in each project he is involved with, bringing a wide range of experience and understanding of commercial property markets to each scheme.
Greg is one of Newcastle's leading office agents, and is currently engaged on many of the city's prime office buildings in capacity of leasing agent. His involvement extends beyond simply identifying tenants for vacant space, and his background in capital markets brings  wider understanding of the challenges and objectives of his clients. With his keen interest in emerging trends in the office sector, he is often engaged right at the outset of any leasing project, helping clients navigate towards the best outcome for refurbishment, repositioning and promotion of their asset.
Greg has also acted in an advisory capacity to many corporate office occupiers, taking them through the process of identifying the right premises and negotiating the best available terms in the market.

Out of work Greg enjoys being outdoors, whether walking in the Lake District with family, Mountain Biking in the Yorkshire Dales or clocking up miles running through the streets of his home town in Darlington. 

When he is not outdoors, Greg puts his artistic talents to good use and is a keen artist, specialising in contemporary abstract painting. Whilst he insists this is primarily for relaxation, he has been commissioned by several clients to create individual pieces. Some of his work has found a home in various office buildings around Newcastle.
