Based in London since 2000 Gerald specialises in rural Investments and is a retained advisor to major UK clients including landed estates, listed property companies and pension funds.
Since 1999, Gerald has specialised in the valuation of agricultural, renewable and forestry investments throughout the country. He undertakes regular portfolio valuations for both investors and pension funds, as well as valuations and other professional work for tax, expert witness, CPO and secured lending.
Gerald is also the designer of Savills market-leading rural portfolio valuation programme, which enables data importation and matching, together with a suite of bespoke reports to clients' specific requirements.
He is author of the 2014 RICS/RAU annual fellowship "Factors affecting the British farmland market" and provided written evidence on agricultural tenancy reform to the Scottish Government in 2015.
