Edward Wain-Heapy

Edward’s 25-year career includes a stint in the central London property market – experience he describes as tremendously useful – but the majority of his time has been on home turf, managing large estate agency teams. He now collaborates with regional colleagues, working directly with clients, high net worth buyers and their appointed buying agents. He relishes the opportunity to head out, build relationships and showcase outstanding country houses.

Time away from work centres around family and, recently, on the refurbishment of the Victorian home in West Sussex that he shares with his wife and their three children. Highlights include uncovering a fireplace complete with the original tiling and discovering parquet flooring hitherto hidden by carpet. Such treasures appeal to his long-standing love of architecture, an interest only fuelled by the breadth of style and history that can be found in the prime property of Surrey and Sussex.
