Darren joined the Heritage & Townscape team at Savills in January 2018, working as a consultant advising on the heritage constraints and opportunities within planning.
Darren graduated with a MSc in Historic Conservation and joined Savills in 2018 from a land agency and new homes background to utilise his academic and personal interest in the historic built environment.
He advises on the constraints and opportunities of heritage related matters within the wider planning context, with the production of heritage reports to accompany the necessary planning permission applications following in-depth research into buildings and their setting, and engagement with project teams.
Darren lives in London, but can often be found hiking in the English countryside, visiting sites of historic interest and museums, further developing his knowledge and understanding of the historic built environment and its setting.
