Kamala is based in Savills Manchester and serves clients throughout Northern England and Scotland.
Kamala graduated from Anglia Ruskin University in 2007 with a First Class LLB (Hons) Law degree, and was awarded the Osborne Morris and Morgan Prize for most outstanding academic performance, before completing her tax training contract within the capital allowances team of a "Big Four" professional services firm. She joined Savills capital allowances in 2010 to assist with developing the Eastern region business, before relocating to Manchester in 2015 to manage the Northern region business.
Kamala has 15 years dedicated capital allowances experience across a wide range of valuations ranging from small industrial units to portfolio acquisitions in excess of £1 billion; from anerobic digestion plants to licenced zoos. She has experience of HMRC negotiation, transactional advisory, preparation of documents for tax tribunals and assisting with tax technical expert witness work.
Kamala is a Fellow of both the Association of Taxation Technicians and the Institute of Financial Accountants, and is a student member of the Chartered Institute of Taxation. She was named Capital Allowances Advisor of the Year in the FM Taxation Awards 2022.
