Joel Austin

Joel joined Savills after graduating from the University of Liverpool with a Master’s degree in Planning (MPlan) in 2023. He achieved chartered membership of the Royal Town Planning Institute in 2025.

Joel supports projects from initial site appraisal through to the preparation and submission of planning applications, providing clear and pragmatic advice to help clients navigate the planning system and unlock development potential. He has experience working on residential, mixed‑use and commercial schemes.

Joel works closely with colleagues across disciplines to deliver commercially focused outcomes, bringing a collaborative and detail‑oriented approach to each project.
