My engineering career took off in Australia, where I spent seven years leading technical due diligence on major projects globally. From London's 1 Cabot Square to the Sydney Opera House and Dubai's Mall of the Emirates, I developed my expertise on some of the world's most challenging and iconic buildings.

Returning to the UK, I joined CBRE where I built and scaled a multidisciplinary engineering consultancy from the ground up, eventually rising to Executive Director. It was here that I discovered my talent for combining rigorous technical delivery with strategic growth and my love for developing the teams that make it all possible.

Between 2015 and 2024, I took an extraordinary sabbatical: a decade-long sailing voyage around the globe partner Emma and my ukulele. 

This wasn't just adventure; it was transformative leadership development that sharpened my adaptability and deepened my understanding of how diverse perspectives drive better outcomes.

Today at Savills, I am focused on expanding the range of services within M&E while growing and developing the talented team that delivers them.

Building on Savills' established strengths in Asset Engineering, Vertical Transportation, Design & Projects, and Intelligent Buildings, I am driving the division toward new opportunities and capabilities.

I am particularly passionate about advancing social mobility in engineering, working to ensure that talented people from all backgrounds can build successful careers in the industry.

For me, effective strategies mean nothing without the best people to take them forward.

I have been working within the property industry for 30 years and specialising in building services engineering with a particular specialism in term consultancy which analyses a building throughout its life cycle.

Giving a strategic direction to the Savills M&E business and ensuring that our clients get the most informed advice on their property or property portfolios.

I love travelling.  Some years ago, my partner and I decided to take a break from work and go sailing.  We sailed for 10 years where we travelled the world seeing diverse geographies and cultures.
