Richard Card

Richard first joined Savills IT in 1998, and is now the Group CIO providing global guidance and leadership.

He started his career at Savills as an IT consultant becoming a permanent member of the Information Technology department in 2001 as a senior systems engineer. He worked on various IT projects including Savills first enterprise grade data storage systems and the disaster recovery project.

In 2009, Richard was promoted to director reporting into the Group IT CIO and in July 2012 promoted to head of IT for UK & Europe. Shortly after in 2013, he was promoted to CIO for the EMEA region. He was responsible for a team of over 80 that developed, managed and maintained IT systems for the EMEA region.

In the summer of 2023, Richard was promoted to his current position as Group CIO. Already successfully implementing a number of projects such as NextGen in the USA, MyPurchasing 2.0 and a new global intranet platform. He continues to support Savills entities globally and is involved in a number of ongoing projects.

Richard lives in Kent with his wife, 3 daughters and their dog, Sid.
