Tara joined Savills in 2021, working in the Brighton office and specialising in assessing the public health impacts of major infrastructure projects.
Tara started her career in 2016 with a mainstream environmental and planning consultancy before joining Savills in 2021. Tara has played a part in the transition from standalone health impact assessments to assessing health in Environmental Statements. Specifically, Tara has helped define and develop best practice through her involvement on the IEMA Health in Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA) Working Group and contribution to the IEMA Outlook Journal regarding the benefits and added value of quantifying health impacts.
In her current role, specific project sector experience includes: nuclear; fracking; energy from waste; wind farms and their grid connections; residential and urban expansion; anaerobic digestion; surface/sub-surface mining; airport expansion; and major transport infrastructure (road and rail). Scales vary from local planning developments to nationally significant infrastructure projects and hybrid bill.
Outside of work, Tara plays Australian rules football for England and Great Britain.
