Thank you to those who attended the latest webinar in the Savills sponsored Cambridge University Land Society ESG series, organised by the Society’s ESG & Sustainability Forum.

In this webinar, held on Thursday 2 November, our panellists discussed the Importance of Health & Wellbeing in the Future Workplace. Promoting and supporting employee health and wellbeing in a workplace can deliver mutual benefit to people, organisations, economies and communities. Healthy workplaces help people to flourish and reach their potential, benefitting both the employer and the employee - increased resilience, better engagement, reduced sickness absence and higher performance and productivity are all potential benefits. However, wellbeing initiatives often fall short of their potential because they stand alone, isolated from the everyday business. Our panellists will discuss how health and wellbeing needs to be integrated throughout an organisation, embedded in its culture, leadership and people management.

The lively debate was introduced by Ami Kotecha, Chair of ESG & Sustainability Forum at CULS and Co-Founder, Amro Partners, moderated by Jane Muir-Sands, Managing Director Corporate Services, HSBC, and included perspectives from our panellists:

Shelley Roberts, Group Chief Commercial Offices for Compass Group, Sophie Schuller, Head of Applied Research, EMEA Consulting Cushman & Wakefield, Andrew Buroni, Director of Health and Social Impact at Savills, and Ann-Maria Aguilar, Senior Vice President, Commercial at the International Well Building Institute.
