When you find a property you want to rent, we’ll ask for initial funds.  To ensure there is no delay to your move-in you must:

  • Make payment from one bank account
  • Make sure the payee is a named tenant
  • Ensure your payment arrives as cleared funds in our account three working days before the tenancy start date

Whether initial funds or regular rental payments it is quicker, easier and cheaper for you to pay us from a UK bank account.

If you decide to pay from an overseas account, you must consider the exchange rate and increase your payment accordingly to ensure we receive the full amount due.  You’ll also be responsible for paying any bank charges associated with the transaction. You should also allow extra time, five working days minimum, to ensure the funds are cleared in our account in good time.

At the end of your tenancy, if all or any part of the deposit is due to be returned, we must send the payment to the account that it came from. This means that we can’t pay a different account or a third party. In the unusual event that a third party has paid the deposit, then we must return any funds due to their account.
