Elias Raymond oversees our Primrose Hill office. He has an extensive local knowledge of the area and here he shares where to go for a flat white coffee and fantastic Greek cuisine.

Best Restaurant - Lemonia

Lemonia has been an institution in Primrose Hill for more than 30 years. It offers a slice of Mediterranean cuisine and the restaurant has cosy booths and a terrace garden. The food is fantastic and I always go for the tarama, hummus and grilled halloumi to start.

Main courses range from charcoal grills, seafood and oven-cooked taverna classics, all delicious. It’s a great meal for group dining and the restaurant always has a good atmosphere. It’s like being on holiday on your favourite Greek island.

Best café - The Little One

Tiny café with great quality coffee and a choice of dairy and wheat free crepes. The coffee beans actually come from Monmouth, who are specialist coffee shop.

The flat white is one of the best in London and my morning isn’t complete without one. The staff are always friendly, there are a few seats inside but they also have a selection outside too. Go there and enjoy the sunshine in the afternoon.

Best pub - The Engineer

Situated just next to the Regent’s Canal, The Engineer is a stylist gastropub. I frequently visit the pub for a drink with friends but also love the secret garden area for secluded al fresco dining. The pub prides itself on their food but also boasts a great range of beers and wines.

My favourite dish is the rib-eye steak with triple-cooked chips and for dessert, the vanilla cheesecake is delicious! The Sunday roast is also fantastic, one that can be enjoyed with family and friends.

Best Park - Primrose Hill

I often enjoy a stroll through the park on the weekend and take in the scenery. It has a fantastic view of the London skyline from the top of the hill. One of the most pleasant ways to approach the park is to get off at Camden Town and walk along the canal.

It has become increasingly popular with the trendy and famous, so keep your eyes peeled for celebs. On a summer’s day, the park is always busy, many people bring picnics, so it’s a great day out for the family.
