About Cultural Quarter

Savills provided planning, development and townscape and visual impact consultancy services for this high profile development in the heart of Southampton’s civic centre. The development creates an exciting frontage to Guildhall Square and Andrews Park to the east, however due to the proposed height of the new buildings and their proximity to the listed Civic Offices clock tower a robust Townscape and Visual Impact Assessment was required to assess the impact of the proposals on the setting of the listed building and the wider Southampton skyline. The proposals gained planning permission and are now complete.
