Thank you to those who attended the latest webinar in the Savills sponsored Cambridge University Land Society ESG series, organised by the Society’s ESG & Sustainability Forum.

It has been estimated that energy efficiency and moving to renewable energy can address 55% of global greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions. The circular economy, in addressing our material use by shifting the focus to retaining value and reusing the resources we already have, can help tackle the remaining emissions. But how realistic is this in practise?

In this webinar, held on Thursday 28 April, our panellists discussed what the latest developments and what we need to be doing to improve the situation.

The lively debate was introduced by Ami Kotecha, Chair of ESG & Sustainability Forum at CULS and Co-Founder, Amro Partners, and moderated by Munish Dutta, Director of Membership and Partnerships at UKGBC, and includes perspectives from our panellists:

Martin Pauli - Europe Foresight Leader I Associate Director Circular Economy, Sustainability, ESG Strategy @ Arup, Duncan Baker-Brown - Founder, BakerBrown, May Al-Karooni – Founder, Globechain, Nick Iles – Principal Sustainability & Waste Consultant, Savills.
