About Woodcote Green Road

The redevelopment of surplus NHS Trust land to the south of Epsom General Hospital informed the design of a 195-unit residential masterplan. Framed by existing healthcare infrastructure and a new pocket park, the proposals sensitively responded to their setting including operational hospital, associated service access and neighbouring residential development. The masterplan transformed surplus car parking land into a new residential address prioritising the public realm, streets and building enclosure. A number of pre-application consultation meetings with the local planning authority were undertaken following which the site was sold for redevelopment. The masterplan concluded how the site could be transformed to benefit the local setting and wider community. With Savills Planning and Development
