About Waddon Way

A residential development was proposed on surplus land immediately to the south of Thames Water’s Water Treatment Works at Waddon Way, Croydon. The design proposed an L-shaped residential layout totalling 24 units that framed a private residents rear garden to offset development from the neighbouring bowling green.  The form and massing of the proposals responded to adjacent residential dwellings by establishing a rhythm of structured brick frontages with metal clad front door recesses to break up the building massing. The proposals were submitted for pre-application consultation.
