Jon is Head of Natural Capital and advises clients on all areas of rural ESG. He has particular focus on carbon net zero strategies and biodiversity net gain.
Jon helps client's understand environmental policy and markets and how this effects their business. This includes baselining existing performance, calculating uplifts and improvements and then enabling these changes through applying new markets and grants. Specifically this includes reducing carbon emissions through evolving farming and land management techniques, carbon sequestration through afforestation and peatland restoration and biodiversity improvements such as biodiversity net gain (BNG).
Spending time in London and Cirencester, Jon leads the national natural capital team.
Jon graduated from the University of Reading with a first class honours degree in agricultural business management in 2009 and joined the business as a graduate. He spent 10 years in agricultural advisory prior to moving towards environmental consultancy.
Jon lives in the South Cotswolds with his wife and two children.
