Asher De'ath-Snape

Ash studied forestry in Bangor University and started his career with a woodland management and landscaping company based in North Wales. Here, Ash gained skills in project management, contractor supervision and managing constraints on environmentally sensitive sites. Ash utilises these skills to deliver efficient and productive woodland management for woodland owners including timber harvesting, invasive species control, habitat management and woodland creation.

Ash is involved with securing funding for woodland management via applications for Countryside Stewardship Higher Tier and the England Woodland Creation Offer and identifying other funding opportunities. Producing wodland management plans, applying for felling licences and delivering grant funding agreements are day-to-day activities in Ash's role. 

Based in Petersfield, Hampshire, Ash enjoys walking along the many local routes throughout the South Downs National Park.
