Richard joined Savills in February 2016 as building maintenance manager having graduated with a masters degree in property and building surveying from Nottingham Trent University.
Richard Milburn is an Associate Director at Savills UK, where he serves as the Building Maintenance Manager within the Rural Management team. Since joining Savills in February 2016, Richard has played a pivotal role in overseeing maintenance operations across a diverse portfolio of rural properties, including farmhouses, tenanted buildings, and agricultural infrastructure. His work supports a wide range of clients, including institutions, public sector bodies, corporate entities, and private landowners.
Richard holds an MSc in Property & Building Surveying from Nottingham Trent University. He is a member of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (MRICS) and the International Facility Management Association (IFMA), reflecting his commitment to professional excellence and industry standards.
In addition to his operational responsibilities, Richard has contributed to the development of future talent in the surveying profession, having led training initiatives in collaboration with the Greater Lincolnshire LEP’s Career Hub.
Based at Savills’ Lincoln office, Richard continues to drive high standards in maintenance management, project delivery, and client service across rural estates.
