Savills

Mental wellbeing

We’re here to support the mental wellbeing of our people – whether that’s helping them to cope with the stresses of life, empowering them to realise their full potential, creating opportunities for learning and growth, or helping them feel part of a community.

Savills UK has signed the Time to Change Pledge, tackling mental health stigma in the workplace, and are an accredited Level 2 Disability Confident Employer. Together, these initiatives help us ensure Savills is a place that’s open and inclusive, where everyone can find their place to thrive.

Our Human Resources Team offer several wellbeing initiatives, liaising with health-benefit providers, occupational health experts and other medical professionals to constantly improve the way we offer support.

Managers play a crucial role in their employees’ wellbeing, too. Our comprehensive mental health training teaches them how to support their line reports on an individual basis, encouraging open communication within the relationship. 650 line managers have already been trained, with more joining every month. We support our people’s mental health throughout the career lifecycle, with tailored support and adjustments during key stages, recognising mental health at every stage.

Our wellbeing support is shaped by our people. Across the UK, more than 300 Mental Health Champions play an active role in promoting positive mental health and helping to tailor initiatives to the needs of local teams and communities.

All UK employees have access to our confidential Employee Assistance Programme, which offers 24/7 support and counselling on a wide range of personal and professional issues. We’ve also partnered with MYNDUP to provide flexible, one-to-one mental health support, with an average of 214 hours booked per month.

Our commitment to preventing bullying and harassment helps create a safe environment that supports mental wellbeing.
