Savills has been recognised for its commitment to championing social mobility within the real estate sector.

Our Social Mobility Network was Highly Commended in the ‘Outstanding Employee Network of the Year’ category at the Employee Network Awards 2025, while Sarah Thorley, co-chair of the Savills Social Mobility Group, received the Highly Commended and Gold Award in the ‘Rising Star’ category at the UK Social Mobility Awards 2025.

Sarah Chapman, who leads the Savills Social Mobility Network, said: “Since it was launched the network has gone from strength to strength – with more than 120 members from offices across the UK and at all levels of our business.

“This recognition reflects the incredible work of our network members who are committed to breaking down barriers, creating opportunities, and driving meaningful change across the property sector.”

Sarah Thorley added: “Social mobility is not just a conversation, it’s a commitment. A big thank you to everyone who has contributed to our journey so far.

"We have made some great progress in recent years, however we recognise there is still more hard work to be done as we continue to ensure that everyone has the opportunity to fulfil their potential regardless of their socio-economic background.”
