Stonehage Fleming relocated their London offices to 6 St James's Square, taking three floors in the highly sought after location.
With a desire to offer staff more amenities, yet go fully agile, the new office needed to provide flexibility and privacy in an environment that staff wanted to travel to. As a private client facing firm, the space needed to offer clients a comfortable and professional environment befitting the business’ standing. While reflecting Stonehage Fleming’s heritage and extensive art collection, it was important that the new aesthetic appealed to all all generations of their clients.
With ESG and sustainability at the top of the agenda, KKS Savills re-interpreted and adapted the existing fit-out to suit the brand and culture of the highly prestigious wealth management firm. The sustainable design focused on retaining and improving the existing fitout, re-using furniture and improving the efficiency of the floorplates. At the heart of the Client Suite on the ground floor, a contemporary gallery boasts an impressive display of artwork, complemented with select pieces of antique furniture, showcasing the heritage of the firm in a welcoming space. This is echoed in the workplace with work settings designed around key pieces of artwork.
The completed space offers an impressive, flexible environment, where staff and clients alike can work productively and comfortably with seamless technology. The sustainable design subtly incorporates the Stonehage Fleming brand, with softened brand colours creating a fresh and welcoming environment in a space that provides a variety of work settings. This new departure is to set the standard for all the business’ offices around the world.
