On behalf of Wynyard Park, Savills is the lead consultant providing strategic planning and delivery services. Savills has presented evidence at the examinations of the Hartlepool and Stockton Local Plans, securing development plan allocations for approximately 2,000 houses, a local centre, primary school, urban park, sports pitches and a public house. The site is also the home of Wynyard Business Park which comprises 50,000 sqm of B1 office space and 80,000 sqm of B8 distribution space. It is occupied by over 46 businesses, generating an estimated 2,000 jobs and headquartered by Samsung.
As well as leading the strategic planning promotion, Savills is also heavily involved in the implementation phases, preparing, submitting and successfully securing multiple planning permissions at Wynyard Park. Housing delivery is now underway by Taylor Wimpey, Barratt David Wilson, Story Homes, Avant Homes, Joseph Homes and a number of private high-end self-build projects.
