Savills Planning was instructed by Bloor Homes to coordinate the preparation of an outline planning application including urban design and an Environmental Impact Assessment for a housing led mixed-use development of up to 700 homes to the east of Carterton in West Oxfordshire.
Bloor Homes was very pleased with the planning work undertaken by Savills, from the start of this 700 home project to the point of securing outline permission and the subsequent start of development.

The strategic promotion resulted in a Draft Local Plan allocation in October 2012 and a resolution to grant permission subject to a Section 106 planning obligation in October 2014. Outline planning permission was granted in March 2018.
Development is now underway and the first dwelling completions were in 2019.
