On behalf of Purfleet Centre Regeneration Ltd, Savills is instructed to provide planning consultancy services concerning proposals for the regeneration of Purfleet-on-Thames Town Centre. Outline planning permission was approved in December 2019 for mixed-use redevelopment to provide up to 2,850 dwellings, along with business, retail, hotel, education, health and assembly and leisure uses, as well as film and television production facilities. Savills also assisted in securing reserved matters approval in January 2020 for an initial phase of 61 homes which will be delivered by Swan Housing. We continue to advise on the approval of site-wide and zonal strategies and the preparation of reserved matters for key infrastructure and the next phases of development. Savills has also provided planning consultancy services for other housing projects in Thurrock. This includes such services provided to Thurrock Council as land owner in relation to their proposals for housing development of the former Culver Centre site, in South Ockendon.
