Savills secured planning permission for the demolition of 608 existing homes, the delivery of up to 1,704 new homes and c.10,000 sqm of non-residential floorspace in buildings rising up to 10 storeys. The masterplan proposes a high density development with a new Neighbourhood Park. The value generated from High Path will fund the delivery of another two estates which would otherwise not come forward. The scheme will be delivered over 16 years and was designed to incorporate flexibility to introduce Build to Rent housing as part of the tenure mix. This provides flexibility when developing the reserved matters. Savills also secured planning permission for Phase 1 which will deliver 134 new homes, and approval for the Phase 2 reserved matters.
