Six of the best Guernsey properties with kitchens to get taste buds tingling

It seems that spring has finally sprung in Guernsey which means bank holidays and summer events are just around the corner.

There is much to look forward to over the coming months and it all kicks off with the Taste Guernsey Food Festival on 1 April.

From our world famous dairy cows and abundance of fresh seafood, to our sun ripened tomatoes and sweet tasting strawberries - Guernsey has a fine selection of growers and producers of which we can be proud.

Organised by the Guernsey Hospitality Association (GHA), the food festival is a month-long celebration of all the very best ingredients the island has to offer – challenging chefs to create menus using as much local produce as possible.

Several restaurants are taking part in the festival and diners are encouraged to eat their way around the island and vote for the tastiest dishes. The GHA also hopes the festival will encourage people to get cooking themselves.
