Eden is a 825,000 sq ft shopping and leisure destination at the heart of High Wycombe, and home to tenants including House of Fraser, LK Bennett, Swarovski, Richoux and Marks & Spencer.
The Brief:
To oversee the development and execution of onsite Marketing and PR to ensure the strategy successfully positions the centre as it moves into the next stage of the centre’s product life cycle.

Our Solution:
Working to an annual budget of £397,000, to date we have provided management and expertise for the recruitment of an onsite Marketing Manager, provided critical assessment of the previous strategy and budget apportionments, assisted in the development of the 2010/11 Marketing & PR Strategy and continue to provide on-going support and expertise to the landlord and onsite team.
Working closely with stakeholders and the newly appointed Marketing Manager, the consultancy provided by SMC has ensured the successful execution of customer research, a website redesign, delivery of unique on-site events, execution of events and PR campaigns that leverage community relationships, development of social media campaigns and a number of customer communication initiatives.
How we added value:
Through delivery of a strategy specific to the needs of the tenants and achieving the aims associated with the movement of the centre into the next stage of its product lifecycle, the campaigns aim to further increase brand awareness amongst affluent core and secondary shoppers, increase footfall, drive traffic to the website, increase tenant involvement, enhance the mall ambience and further develop community relationships.
