How we can help you:
We act for most of the mainstream social housing providers, providing a variety of valuations, both for new schemes and existing stock for rent. We also value different types of tenure, such as shared ownership and market rented properties.
Our Expertise:
- We developed the techniques for the valuation of Large Scale Voluntary Transfers (LSVTs), which have gone on to then become the industry standard.
- Working with housing associations and funders, we have also developed industry standard techniques for the valuation of shared ownership properties, key worker and student accommodation.
- The valuation of HRA assets for accounting purposes is another area where we worked with the government department (DETR) to develop the industry standard approach. We have since advised a number of stock holding local authorities, from large metropolitan boroughs to small rural districts.
- Outside the housing association sector, we provide valuation advice to owners and operators of private rented portfolios in the UK and abroad, student accommodation and Ground Rent investments.
